Welcoming the guests to an epicurean slice of Italy, hosts Rohit Roy and promoter of Café Mangii, Prashant Chaudhri greeted and welcomed leading luminaries of the film and television fraternity, to indulge in the warm hospitality and delicious food that Café Mangii is famous for. Café Mangii opened its doors in the plush locales of Versova in a completely new and luxurious avatar! Well-situated in one of Mumbai’s up-market neighborhoods, the two-storey villa very distinctly catches eyeballs with its artistic furniture, highlighting rustic architecture at its best and a well-illuminated porch, alluring people from all walks of life. Famous for its hand-crafted Napolitana wood-fired oven pizzas and al dente pastas cooked to perfection, the guests enjoyed every bit of what was served.
Café Mangii has an extensive menu that boasts of some of the best of Italian appetizers, heady wines and cocktails along with a variety of mouth-watering desserts and rich coffees to complete the experience. Café Mangii has gone all out with its lush interiors, well-designed to tap one’s mood.
While the bottom floor opens its doors to an all-day Deli & Patisserie, level one gives you a reason to wine & dine with your loved ones. For those looking to unwind in the lap of luxury, the open-air sea-facing pizzeria on the terrace gives you the perfect setting to indulge.
At the launch party, there was plenty to choose from for the vegetarians – Tortilla chips, Beignet-wild mushroom risotto, Arancini di Risso, Fried Brie, Asparagus mousse on crackers, Bruschetta of brie and figs, Grilled cottage cheese and vegetable skewers, Olives & Sun dried tomato tarts, and Roasted mushrooms to name just a few. The non-vegetarians relished the Chicken Olivetti, Egg Mayo & Chive Toasti, Chicken Frango, Chicken Liver Pate on crackers, Lamb Teriyaki, Prawn on skewers, fried calamari served with pesto mayo, Marie rose prawns served on melba toast, salmon mousse and many other delicious appetizers.
