Ashish Balram Nagpal, one of India's foremost art curators and gallery owners, celebrated what he terms as artist Chintan Upadhyay's Delivery, an exhibition that brings to light the artist's thought-provoking views on genetic manipulation, a global issue. 'Pet Shop' forwards a critique on social hypocrisy that ranges from keeping 'pets' to keeping 'art'.

The celebration took place at Red Light the Night Club at Kala Ghoda Mumbai and also showcased an interesting audio visual presentation, something that innovative Ashish Balram Nagpal is known for!

"Chintan's work challenges my thought process and makes me debate within", says Ashish Balram Nagpal when quizzed on the artist's works.

Celebrities of the likes of Randeep Hooda, Jiah Khan, Atul Kasbekar, Hriday Nagpal, Mukteshwari, Abhay Deol, Kitu Gidwani, Gaurrav Chanana, Jackie Shroff, Shruti Shama, Arjun Khanna, Pradeep Guha, Ayaz Memon, Kanishk Gangwal, Puneet Tejwani, Ashish Kapoor, Pratyasha Bole, Dajiba Pundole Saryu Doshi, artists Riyaz Komu, Chintan Upadhyay, Rajat Dhar, Sanjeev Khandekar, Hema Upadhyay, Ganga Kadakia and a whole horde of art. Film and television fraternity took part in Ashish Balram Nagpal's celebration. Whoever said raising a debatable issue was merely bookish! Serious causes can be festively brought to light too….
