Swastik Pictures, a partnership firm was incorporated in October 2006 by two experienced ex-television professionals with the aim of creating, marketing and delivering meaningful & high end quality content for the rapidly emerging media and entertainment industry in India as well as to meet 0the demand of Indian content overseas.

Over the last few years, the Indian Media & Entertainment industry has made remarkable progress to accrue the business to a large extent. Apart from existing healthy competition, there also lies significant opportunity for new content creators to tap prospective business and grow along with the rising industry curve. While entering in this industry segment there was no milieu behind us, but we succeeded to cope with the circumstance at an early stage. Our main aim is to entertain the mass audiences by rendering them the best of our services and producing high quality Television Serials/Films for the mass audiences. Our destination is to become one of the most recognized Production Houses in the industry. We are on our feet to tackle the challenges and obstacles that come in the way of success.

In a short span of time in the Entertainment Industry, we have a credible performance ratio related towards our first venture project. Amber Dhara, our maiden project about the story of conjoined twins, was hailed as one of the most innovative shows on Indian television.


Background & Foundation of Swastik Pictures:


“Swastik Pictures” is a venture between Vikas Seth and Siddharth Kumar Tewary, both having had professional associations holding key portfolios with leading Hindi General Entertainment Channels like Star India Pvt. Ltd & Sony Entertainment Television

The combination of creative and strategic mindset led to the decision of coming up with concept/s that bring in a new wave of programming on the Indian tube. An idea was conceived and developed into a storyline which breaks the current generic saas-bahu mould; a story which would inspire people & characters that the mass could relate to.

They moved ahead to launch their Production House “Swastik Pictures” with the objective of creating content with subjects that communicate a social message packed with emotional as well as entertainment quotient that form a staple diet for the entire family.


Vikas Seth - Managing Partner

Academic Qualification:
Post Graduate in Business Administration – Marketing,
Chetana’s Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.Vikas Seth started his career stint more than 8 years ago with Star India Pvt. Ltd., working with Mr Tarun Katial on Strategic Planning, Research & On-Air Presentation for key STAR channels like Star Plus, Star Gold, Star Movies, Star World & Channel V.

He was a key member in planning creative plots as well executing strategic responsibilities till 2005 for all Star shows such as Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Khullja Sim Sim, Kasautii Zindagii Kay & many more.

He was primarily involved into developing strategy (Programming, viewership as well as On-Air) for Star Plus & has had the opportunity to contribute and witness the successful performance of Star Plus during his tenure.

He has also been acknowledged by News Corporation with a “Global Excellence Award” felicitating recognition of his contribution.Post 5 years at STAR, he moved to Sony Entertainment Television handling a similar portfolio while managing a larger team unit along with Mr Tarun Katial.

He has been an intrinsic part of shows like Indian Idol, Deal Ya No Deal, Fear Factor, Ek Ladki Anjani Si, Boogie Woogie, Akela, Thodi Khushi Thode Gham, Jhalak Dhikla Ja, Bigg Boss and many more shows in its strategic planning & promotion.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary – Creative Director
Academic Qualification: Masters in Communication Management, Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary has more than 5 years of experience in the media industry, ranging from Advertising to Marketing and Programming. Siddharth started his career with a leading advertising agency ‘Euro RSCG’ where he was responsible for repositioning of Channel MAX – ‘Deewana Bana De’.

He was one of the key persons behind the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 & ICC World Cup 2003 Campaign. The campaign was recognized at the Abby Awards 2002 with two Silver Abbys in Best Media Channel & Best Media Campaign Category.

During his tenure, two of his own ideas, one for MAX itself and the other towards Aids awareness won him both the Gold and Silver Trophy in the Best Outdoor Media Innovation Category at the Effie Awards 2003. He then moved to JWT for a brief stint on ‘Good Knight’, a Godrej Sara Lee product, where he was responsible for all strategic, research and execution for all brand communications.Television called & he moved to SET India Pvt Ltd with channel MAX with the charge to continue to build the brand. He repositioned and took it to the next level as a ‘Premium Movies and Special Events Channel’.

He was the brain behind all MAX ‘Deewana bana de’ campaigns and also conceived ‘Gully Cricket’ with celebrities like Kapil Dev and MandiraBedi.
A concept which built great association with the channel at the ground level.

He also did ‘Mandira Aapke Ghar’ & ICC Champions Trophy 2005. Siddharth was also acknowledged with a Key Contributor Award at SET in 2004.
His creative mind made way and he moved into SET Programming in its Content Development department where he was looking into creative execution of all new shows for the channel. His last stint at SET involved handling, managing the creative & execution of shows like Aisa Des Hai Mera, Vaidehi, Akela, Filmfare Awards 2006 & Karamchand.
