PONY VERMA LAUNCHES INDIAN SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS

Pony Verma launched Indian School of Performing Arts with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Govinda and Vivek Oberoi as guest of honour . It was a danceful evening and affair to remember 

Vivek oberoi is apparently Pony's rakhi brother and they have learnt dance together as kids
and they both acknowldeged each others each others contribution

Govinda also walked in in black and looked handsome, he said he was glad
that Pony had supported good talent always

Indian School of Performing Arts (ISPA) is a Venture of Media Headquarters Pvt. Ltd. which is a diversified media group and came about in 2010 with the goal of creating imaginative properties that can play a role in Entertainment & Media. Media Headquarters is promoted by a team of 5 strong individuals (Shokat Babul, Pony Verma, Pranay Anthwal, Jatish Varma & Sameer Dixit), with each having more than 18-20 years of work/ entrepreneurial experience in the space. Its Headquarters is at Mumbai and branch offices in Ahmedabad and Cardiff (UK). 

Sanjay Leela bhansali was the first to walk in to bless pony and was there for a good quality time and said he always liked pony's work and was extremely happy that she is channelising way for emerging talent.

Shweta pandit sang the partner song at the time govinda was on stage and he shook a leg too. It was a danceful evening and the mood was happy, Pony's trainers performed a special house music, bouying, Salsa, Bollywood and the highlight was a Michael Jackson song performance on Bollywood number. Pony thanked all her family and friends for the support for the wonderful venture

Pony Verma is known for her scintillating steps in life and now she is taking a giant step in her illustrious career opening her own academy, Indian school of Performing Arts, on June 9! In association with four veterans of the media industry, Pony Verma, as promoter of Media Headquarters Pvt. Ltd. (MHQ), will spearhead Indian School of Performing Arts (ISPA), first of its kind center in terms of scale and inclusiveness aimed at becoming a global platform for performing arts.

ISPA(www.indianschoolofperformingarts.com&http://www.indianschoolofperformingarts.com/celebrities-speak/) includes Dance Education in forms like- Bollywood, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Hip-Hop, Locking, Popping etc... Other interesting International and contemporary forms will be introduced soon. With the core thought of “Learning from the masters” Pony is looking into every fine detail of the curriculum and is imparting hands on training with practical guidelines to bollywood.

Pony Verma started her career in 2001 and is one of the leading choreographers of the country today. She has made the leading stars of innumerable movies such as Guzaarish, De Dana Dan, Aloo Chaat, Billu, Chandni Chowk to China, Hello Darling, Khatta Meetha, Namasate London, Chup Chup Ke, Malamal Weekly and Bhool Bhuliya dance to her tunes. Besides Bollywood and its numerous superstars, this versatile choreographer has also done many regional films including Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Besides this, she has been invited to judge a dance reality show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’ with renowned choreographers like Saroj Khan.

Pony got her 1st break from director PRIYADARSHAN resulting in her first independent assignment as a choreographer for the Malayalam film ‘Kaka Koyal’ starring Mohan Lal and Ramya in 2001. This was followed by her first break in Bollywood, ‘Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar’ and till date she has choreographed about 100 films (BOLLYWOOD AND SOUTH) with renowned directors like PRIYADARSHAN (Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiya, Bhagambhaag, Biloo Barber, De Dana Dan), SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI for “Guzaarish”, ‘Namaste London’ for VIPUL SHAH , ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ for NIKHIL ADVANI etc…. She has worked with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi, John Abraham, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Khanna etc etc and actresses like

Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Vidya Balan, Tabu, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif, etc
